NTA UGC NET June 2022: Date and Subject-wise Schedule Released, City Intimation Slip available for 09th July

The National Testing Agency has released the Date and Subject-wise Schedule for Phase 1 of UGC-NET December 2021 and June 2022 (Merged Cycle). Along with this, the city intimation for candidates whose subject examination is scheduled on 9th July, 2022 is also being displayed. Eligible Candidates can check the notification on official website @ugcnet.nta.nic.in

In the public notice released by NTA, examinations for 34 subject will be conducted in the first phase scheduled for  09th July to 12th July, 2022. NTA will conduct examinations for 25 subjects on the first day i.e 09 July, 2022. Subsequently, on the second day i.e. 11 July  2022 candidates for 5 subjects will be examined, and lastly, on 12th July examination for 4 subjects will be held.

In the ealier notification, released by the NTA on June 25, the examination will be conducted in the two phases. According to it, the first phase will be conducted on four dates i.e. 08, 09, 11, 12 July 2022 and the second phase was scheduled between  12, 13 & 14 August 2022 . Although the Notification released by NTA today only mentions three dates for exam conduction in the phase 1.

Futhermore, the Public Notice released today, July 4 also informs that the Admit Cards for the exam to be held on 09, 11 & 12 July 2022 will be displayed on the NTA website in the upcoming days and informantion regarding examination schedule and name of remaining subjects to be held between 12, 13 & 14 August 2022 will be announced in due course.

The December 2021 UGC-NET was postponed because  of COVID-19, consequesntly  the schedule of June 2022 UGC-NET had been delayed. In order to regularize the UGC-NET examination cycles, the NTA merged both UGC-NET of December 2021 and June 2022 (merged cycles), so that they may be conducted together in CBT mode. Last year aslo the exams were conducted as merged cycle.
